RESOLUTION NO. 5533
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF A POLICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, members of the Police Civil Service Commission consisting of three
members and serving the Citizens of Mounds View; and
WHEREAS, based upon the recommendation of the Police Civil Service Commission
and the submission of three names for consideration, the City Council shall cause the
hiring of a police officers to occur; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a police officer shall be hired by the
city, and begin a probationary period of one year before permanent status
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby
authorize the hiring of Jennifer A Kuhl.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Jennifer A. Kuhl will begin employment with the City
of Mounds View within 30 days. Salary will be administered as follows per union
contract:
Effective January 1, 2000
Starting Wage
(65% of Top Patrol Rate)
After 6 months continuous service
(70% of Top Patrol Rate)
After 12 months continuous service
(80% of Top Patrol Rate)
After 24 months continuous service
(90% of Top Patrol Rate)
After 36 months continuous service
(100% of Top Patrol Rate)
2001 - 3%

All benefits will apply as determined by union contract and the City of Mounds View
personnel policy.
