RESOLUTION 5538
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE POLICE LIEUTENANT POSITION STATUS
TO DEPUTY CHIEF
WHEREAS, the Police Civil Service has met and recommended a change in the
position title for the second in command of the Department; and that request was
presented to Council;
WHEREAS, The Council has discussed and weighed the recommendation of the
Police Civil Service Committee; at the March 5, 2001 work session;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the title of the second in command
of the Police Department shall be Deputy Chief rather than Liuetenant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED THAT the position title shall become effective on
March 18, 2001. The position shall retain the same salary steps as the previous
position. All other personnel policies and benefits will apply normally.

1. 4,298.59
2. 4,567.25
3. 4,835.92
4. 5,104.58
5. 5,373.24
