RESOLUTION NO. 5549
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
Approving Public Works 2001 Seasonal Positions
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Public Works Department does
have a need to hire seasonal employees, and
WHEREAS, Resolution 5546 says that seasonal positions must be
approved by the Mounds View City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve the seasonal positions, wages and employment
dates for the Public Works Department as listed in Exhibit A.
Adopted this 26th day of March 2001.

RESOLUTION 5549
Approving Public Works 2001 Seasonal Positions
EXHIBIT A
Public Works/Parks Seasonal Workers will perform manual labor that includes
skilled and unskilled tasks. Employees will operate equipment such as mowers,
line trimmers, dragging equipment and rollers.
The starting wage for the 10 seasonal positions will be $9.50/hr with a $.50/hour
performance bonus at the end of employment. Each of these positions will work
40 hours per week with the possibility of 50 hours of overtime for the entire
season.
Eight seasonal positions will remain on staff for not more than six months and
two seasonal positions will remain on staff for not more than eight months.
