CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
ADVERTISING, AND BID DATE FOR PROJECT 01-06, EDGEWOOD MIDDLE
SCHOOL REGIONAL POND
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View approves
the plans and specifications for the construction of the Edgewood Middle School
Regional Pond to be located off County Road Hand;
WHEREAS, the engineer's estimated cost of construction is
estimated at $475,000 and;
WHEREAS, the following pre-bid Sources and Uses of Funds are
proposed for the project:
SOURCES
DTED Redevelopment Grant $333,333
Ramsey County $ 65,415
City of Mounds View $150,000
TOTAL SOURCES: $548,748
USES
Pond Construction (Estimate) $475,000
Engineering and Related Administrative Expenses $ 73,748
I TOTAL USES: $548,748
WHEREAS, the use of pooled TIF funds is the proposed source of
city financing for the project and;
WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes advertisement of the
project and;
WHEREAS, the bid date deadline will be July 20th, 2001 and;
WHEREAS, award of the bid will be on July 23rd, 2001 at the
regular City Council meeting and;
WHEREAS, staff is continuing to secure additional financial
resources to minimize the City's expenses.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View approves the plans and specifications for construction of the
Edgewood Middle School Regional Pond and authorizes advertisement of the project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the bid date deadline will be
July 20th, 2001 and the project will be awarded at the regular City Council meeting on
July 23rd, 2001.
