Drive. in conjunction with the building expansion of Pinewood 1:lem~ntary School and:
WH FREAS. a committcc was ~stabl ished to \\'ork with the rcsidcnt:,;. school officials. thc
architcct and city rcpresentativcs to re\'icw ancI rccommcnd potential solutions to thcsc issues and:
WH FREAS. thc committee suggested a questionnaire be sent to th~ residents on Quincy in this
area to inquirc about their prckrenc~s rcgarding: possible parking: restrictions and:
WHEREAS. 19 sun'ey were sent to the residents resulting: in 15 responding:. with 13 in fa\"or of
n:stricted parking: on Quincy Stre~t during specit1c hours and on school days and:
WIIERLAS. based on the sur\"ey rcsults. it is reeomm~nded that parking: restrictions be applied to
the west side of Quincy Stred from 9:00am to 4:30pm. School Days. from County Road I to Bronson
Dri \'c.
NOW. TIll:REFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View authorizes
parking: restrictions on the west side of Quincy Street from 9:00am to 4:30pm. School Days. Irom County
Road I to Bronson Drivc.
