RESOLUTION NO. 4041
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A PORTION OF THE FUND BALANCE
OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR REVENUE SHORTFALLS
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota is projecting a budgetary
shortfall of approximately $1.2 billion for the 91 - 93 biennium;
and
WHEREAS, the City has experienced past reductions in State
Aids when the State of Minnesota has had budgetary shortfalls;
and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to maintain present services to
residents in the event of a reduction in State Aids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that $130,000
of the fund balance of the General Fund is hereby designated for
Revenue shortfalls.
Adopted this 17th day of January 1991.
