CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A USED UTILITY CART
WHEREAS, as part of the Public Works Departments maintenance programs,
vehicles and equipment are a necessity; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has been utilizing the used golf carts
which were acquired at the time when the Golf Course was dissolved in 2005; and
WHEREAS, $8,000.00 is in the 2013 General Fund Budget, Parks Department
budget, 100-4360-7030, to purchase a utility cart; and
WHEREAS, Staff has obtained a quote from Tri State Bob Cat of Little Canada
MN for a model 3400 used utility cart in the amount of $7,500.00 plus sales taxes and
any applicable license fees; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City hereby authorizes the purchase of a used 3400 utility cart from Tri-
State Bob Cat at the cost of $7,500.00 plus sales taxes and any applicable
license fees.
