RESOLUTION NO. 6472
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING A NEW MEMBER TO THE
MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION AND A COMMISSION CHAIRPERSON
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission consists of seven resident
members appointed by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one vacant seat on the Planning Commission as a
result of the resignation of Commissioner Liz Song in 2004; and
WHEREAS, as of the Wednesday, February 16, 2005 deadline, the City has
received qualified applications from Michael Marrone and AL Hull for the vacant seat;
and
WHEREAS, on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, the Planning Commission reviewed
the applications and determined that either candidate would be a good fit,
recommending that the Council consider either candidate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View that it does hereby appoint AI Hull, residing at 5357 S1. Stephen Street to
the Mounds View Planning Commission with a term to expire on December 31, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View that it does hereby affirm the election of Gary Stevenson to the
position of Chairperson of the Mounds View Planning Commission.
Adopted this 14th day of March, 2005.
