RESOLUTION NO. 6474
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE 2005 STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, on October 13, 2003, City Council adopted Resolution 6110
authorizing the preparation of a preliminary feasibility report for the 2005 Street
Improvement project to determine the need for repairs, scope of work, estimated costs,
and feasibility of conducting this street improvement project; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to assess the cost of said improvements to all
benefited properties; and
WHEREAS, a Public Improvement Hearing date of March 14,2005, was set by
resolution no. 6470 on February 28,2005, which afforded the necessary time to publish
legal notices and send letters to affected property owners; and
WHEREAS, the feasibility report has been prepared and does find the
construction of said improvements to be necessary, cost effective and feasible; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to assess the cost of said improvements to all
benefited properties; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1.
The feasibility report, which was prepared pursuant to Resolution NO.
6110 for the 2005 Street Improvement Project, finds the improvements to
be necessary, cost effective and feasible and is hereby approved.
2.
Said improvements shall hereafter be known and referred to as the 2005
Street and Utility Improvement Project.
3.
As per City Charter the City Council may proceed at any time between
sixty days and one year after the Public Hearing on the 2005 Street and
Utility Improvement Project.
