RESOLUTION 6492 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA WHEREAS, on May 24, 2004 the City Council authorized the preparation of a preliminary feasibility report for the Spring Creek Regional Water quality Pond Project; and WHEREAS, a "DRAFT' version of the feasibility report has been completed and is submitted to the City Council for review; and WHEREAS, the draft report contains four (4) options for constructing said regional water quality pond; and WHEREAS, Option 4 appears to be more agreeable to the property owners; and WHEREAS, to finalize the report, cost estimates should be developed for land acquisition; and . WHEREAS, a total of six (6) quotes were solicited and three (3) quotes received for this project; and WHEREAS, the low quote was received from Nagell Appraisal in the amount of $900.00; and WHEREAS, funds for the appraisal would be derived from the City's Storm Water Utility Fund (Account No. 245-4415-7050-065); and WHEREAS, Staff is also recommending that several copies of this "draff' report be forwarded to both the Rice Creek Watershed District and the Watersheds consulting engineer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the quote received from Nagell Appraisal in the amount of $900.00 for land appraisal work associated with the Spring Creek Regional Water Quality Pond Project is the lowest responsive quote. 2. That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Nagell Appraisal and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Nagell Appraisal. . . 3. That funds for the appraisal are to be derived from the City's Storm Water Utility Fund (Account No. 245-4415-7050). 4. That Staff is hereby directed to facilitate the submittal of copies of the draft report to the Rice Creek Watershed District.
