RESOLUTION NO. 6495
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
SETTING A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING DATE FOR THE CITY HALL
REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, on October 11,2004, the City Council, approved Resolution
6370 authorizing the execution of a Letter Agreement with SEH for the design
and development stage for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, SEH has completed the design and development phase for
this project; and
WHEREAS, on April 4, 2005 a "walk-through" of City Hall to review the
issues that prompted this project proposal was conducted; and
WHEREAS, on April 4, 2005 documents created as part of the design and
development phase were presented to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that a Public Improvement Hearing be
conducted to allow the public to learn about the proposed project and to provide
comments; and
WHEREAS, a Public Improvement Hearing date of April 25, 2005, will
afford the necessary time to publish legal notices; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. A public improvement hearing for said improvement is hereby set
for 7: 15 pm on April 25, 2005 at the Mounds View City Hall and the
City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of said
hearing and improvements as required by law.
2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to cause notice of
the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two
(2) successive weeks in the official newspaper of the City, the first
of such publication to be not less than ten (10) days and the second
not less than three (3) days prior to the date of said meeting.
