RESOLUTION NO. 6532
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A POLICE OFFICER AND PROMOTE A POLICE
OFFICER TO THE POSITION OF SERGEANT
WHEREAS, a vacancy for a Police Sergeant is created by Sergeant Jerry
Johnson' retirement, which when filled, will create a vacancy for a Police Officer position
on the Mounds view Police Department, and;
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has a current
active list of applicants for both positions, and;
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that suitable candidates will be selected from this
list, and submitted to the Council for final approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby authorize staff to fill both positions with start dates some time in June of
2005.
