RESOLUTION NO. 6571
APPROVING 2005 LAWS OF MIJ\TNESOTA, CHAPTER 152, ARTICLE 2,
SECTION 26 RELATING TO AUTHORITY TO CREATE A TAX
INCREMENT FINA1"JCING DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County,
Mimlesota (the "City") as follows:
1. It is hereby determined that:
(a) 2005 Laws of Minnesota, Chapter 152, Article 2, Section 26 (the "Special
Law") authorized the creation of a tax increment financing district subject to certain special
terms and conditions;
(b) the Special Law is effective upon approval by a majority vote of the City
Council and filing a celtificate with the Secretary of State, all in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes, Section 645.021, subd. 2; and
(c) the City Council has detennined that is in the best interest of the City and its
residents to approve the Special Law.
2. The Special Law is hereby approved in all respects.
3. The City Clerk-Administrator is authOlized and directed to file with the Secretary of
State a celtified copy of this resolution along with the appropriate certificate in the fonn prescribed
by the state attomey general.
4. City staff are authorized and directed to take all actions necessary to implement the
Special Law and bring before this Council further proceedings as necessary in order to establish the
tax increment financing district authOlized by the Special Law.
5. The Mounds View Economic Development Authority is designated as the authority
for such district.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Milmesota this 2ih day of June,

TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF MINNESOTA:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, That the undersigned chief clerical officer of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota DOES HEREBY CERTIFY, that in
compliance with the provisions of Laws, 2005, Chapter 152, Aliicle 2, Section 26
requiring approval by a majority* of the governing body of said local govermnental unit
before it becomes effective, the Mounds View City Council at a meeting duly held on the
27th day of June, 2005, by resolution 6571 did approve said Laws, 2005, Chapter 152,
Article 2, Section 26 majority vote* of all of the members thereof (Ayes f ; Noes
