CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ADOPTING THE WATER SUPPLY PLAN
WHEREAS, all Minnesota municipalities with public water supply systems are
required to develop a Water Supply Plan (formerly known as Water Emergency and
Conservation Plans) in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Section 103G.291, Sudb. 3;
and
WHEREAS, the Water Supply Plan was distributed to adjacent governmental units
for a 60-day review period in January 2009 and was included with the 2008
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, Mounds View developed a Water Supply Plan that was approved by
the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MnDNR) on December 10, 2008 which
requires formal adoption by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Water Supply Plan (Water Emergency and Conservation Plans) is hereby
adopted.
2. The Director of Public Works is authorized and directed, for and on behalf of the City,
to notify the MnDNR of the City Council adoption of the Water Supply Plan by means
of the Certification of Adoption form.
Adopted this 24th day of June, 2013.
