CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THE FESTIVAL IN THE PARK COMMITTEE
AND THE MANY INDIVIDUALS WHO VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME ON BEHALF OF
THE FESTIVAL
WHEREAS,the Mounds View Festival in the Park is coordinated and operated by a
non-profit entity--Festival in the Park of Mounds View, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Festival Committee, as it is informally known, is comprised of a
group of dedicated individuals who work tirelessly on behalf of the organization to promote
the Festival; and,
WHEREAS, this year's Festival in the Park was held on August 17, 2013, and the
feedback received from attendees and vendors suggest it was one of the best festivals
ever.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council does
hereby express its appreciation and thanks to the Festival Committee, comprised of the
following individuals:
Theresa Cermak, President
Carol Mueller, VP & Car Show Chair
Diane Wuori, Treasurer
Mona Miske, Games Chair
Steve Otis, Concessions/Beer Garden
Desaree Crane, City Liason
Nate Danielson, Community Center
Sgt. Ben Zender, MV Police Dept
Connie Forster, Asst. Fire Chief
Tammy Koenig, Secretary and CraftersNendors Chair
Don Peterson, MV Public Works
Gary Meehlhause, Asst. Car Show Chair
Joe Rhein, Car Show Support & back up Secretary

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City
Council also recognizes the contributions and volunteer efforts made by the following
organizations and individuals:
The Mounds View Lions, SBM Fire Volunteers, SBM Auxiliary volunteers Marie & Ron,
Officer Nick Erickson & Niko, Car Show/Registration Help: Boy Scout Troop 267 youth &
adults, Kim Meehlhause, Chris & Michelle Mueller, Matthew Mueller, Jeff Mueller, Dave
Olsen, Eric Leitz, Dan Mattilla, Mike LeHew, Robert Everette. Assisting Tammy with
crafters: Gary Koenig and Tammy Todd. Assisting with the Parade were Barbara
Haake, Sherry Gunn, Vanessa Van Alstine, Jennifer Wagner-Harkonen and the CTV
Crew.
