MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDINGS
LOCATED AT 2400 COUNTY ROAD H2 AND 2394 COUNTY ROAD 10
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA) has
Economic Development Authority powers provided in Minnesota Statutes, Sections
469.090 to 469.108; and,
WHEREAS, the EDA authorized the purchase of 2400 County Road H2 on May 13,
2013; and,
WHEREAS, the EDA authorized the purchase of 2394 County Road 10 on June 10,
2013; and,
WHEREAS, the purpose for the acquisitions was to eliminate blight and to
encourage redevelopment and land assembly; and,
WHEREAS, the demolition of both buildings will eliminate blight and encourage
redevelopment and land assembly.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View Economic
Development Authority does hereby:
1. Accept the quote submitted by Carl Bolander & Sons Co., attached hereto as
"Exhibit A", in an amount not to exceed $90,000, for the demolition of the
buildings located at 2400 County Road H2 and 2394 County Road 10.
2. Authorize the President and Executive Director to execute a contract on behalf
of the Authority.

1. Erosion control and NPDES permit
2. Complete structure demolition and disposal
3. City wrecking permit.
4. Water and sewer removals and disconnects.
5. Environmental Surveys.
6. Remove and dispose of the existing regulated waste.
7. Remove and dispose of the existing asphalt and curb.
8. Import and place 4 inches of topsoil,and seed.
Exclusions:
1. Bond; add 1%If required
2. Testing,monitoring&inspections,survey, layout work
3. Engineering,design,preconstruction video and survey
4. Shoring, bracing,earth retention, underpinning
5. Asbestos/lead/chemicals/contaminated soils
6. Sealing of wells
7. Underground tanks
8. Removal or relocation of buried:debris, rubble,and/or obstructions not associated with the existing buildings
9. Dust/weather/safety barriers
10. Utility relocates/re-routes
11. Traffic control
This proposal is subject to review by Bolander in 30 days.
