RESOLUTION NO. 6615
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
Resolution Authorizing Certification of the Proposed General Fund Budget anrJ
Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2006
WHEREAS, current State Statute requires cities to certify a proposed buclqet all;":'
tax levy to the county auditor; and,
WHEREAS, guidelines established by the Commissioner of Revenue require
certification !o occur on or before September 15, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Deparlment of Revenue has certified the amount of Local
Government Aid payable in 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View that the proposed budget for the General Fund for fiscal year 2006 is $5,559,722.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed 2006 base property tax levy is
$3,814,064 and the proposed 2006 special levies are $331 ,337 for a total net property tax
levy of $4,145,401.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these arnounts
to the Ramsey County Auditor.
