RESOLUTION NO. 6407
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR TWIN CITIES NORTH
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO ALLOW CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT THE
MERMAID ENTERTAINMENT AND EVENT CENTER
WHEREAS, Twin Citios North Chamber of Commerce. has requested that
Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid
Entertainment and Event Conter: and
WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of
government (city of county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying
requests to conduct charitable gambling: and
WHEREAS, the Twin Cities Chamber is in compliance with all
requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable
gambling regulations. and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View Lo assist in the
economic prosperity of local business owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby authorize Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce to
conduct charitable gambling at TIle Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center.
