RESOLUTION NO. 6427
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES FOR
CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION
WHER[AS, the City was insured by the Home Insurance Company in
the 1980s 8nd the Home Insurance Company subsequently became insolvent; and
'NHEREAS, a worker's compensation claim from the period of the
Home Insurance policies has now appeared and the City will be directly responsible
for the claim: and
WHEREAS. the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust has
offered to administer the claim on behalf of the City of Mounds View.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Mounds \li(-)',',' that a contract with the Leayue of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust
for $500.00 p"r year for adlninlstration plus actual medical and legill costs is hereby
approved and the Mayor and City Administrator are authorizod to sign the
agreement.
Adopted this 10th day of January. 2005.
