COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL
FOR LAND DEVELOPMENT PLANNING SERVICES FOR THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF COUNTY ROAD 10 AND COUNTY ROAD H2
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA) has
Economic Development Authority powers provided in Minnesota Statutes, Sections
469.090 to 469.108; and,
WHEREAS, the EDA owns properties located at 2390 County Road 10, 2394
County Road 10 and 2400 County Road H2 in Mounds View; and,
WHEREAS,the purpose of the acquisitions was to eliminate blight and to encourage
redevelopment and land assembly; and,
WHEREAS, a current market study and redevelopment concepts for the site is
crucial to ensuring the highest and best re-use of the site; and,
WHEREAS, a Request for Qualifications for land development planning services
was distributed to eight firms on September 4, 2013; and,
WHEREAS,four proposals to provide such services were received by City staff on
September 20, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, the EDA accepted the proposal submitted by Stantec.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View Economic
Development Authority does hereby accept the project fees submitted by Stantec, attached
hereto as "Exhibit A", for land development planning services for the southwest corner of
County Road 10 and County Road H2.
