WHEREAS, the County of Ra'llsey is preparing a Count,' Surface Transportation
Allthorizatio:1 Request for the County Roael J Reconstruction Project
WHEREAS, The Ci:y ci rviounels View supports Ra"~sey Cou~ty's request fer

WHEREAS, The ol'jective of this project is to maximize th, benefit County Roael J can
prOVide th6 community by:

. reducing severe r.ongestion
. accommodating additional traffic generated b'{ the development of a ne'N
Medtronic office development that inclueles 6,000 employees and totais 'j.5
miilion square feet
WHEREAS, ;:\Jth~riz3tion of tllis project in the next multi-Y8a~ Surface Transportation
re-authorization Bill will allow this long awaited project to become a reality. I urge your
support of this important i=.roject and I thanK you for your consideration of our requ'3st;
