RESOLUTION NO. 6462
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE S8M FIRE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROCESS
AND DESIGNATING THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View, together with the Cities of Spring Lake
Park and Blaine (collectively, the "Cities") propose to acquire, construct and equip a
new fire station in the City of Blaine (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the project be controlled by the three SBM Fire
Capital Improvements Projects Process documents for the (1) Fire Station Construction;
(2) Replacement of Engines One and Two; and (3) Replacement of Command Vehicle;
and
WHEREAS, the SBM Fire Capital Improvements Projects Process calls for the
designation of the Project Management Team composed of the City Administrators from
Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, the Blaine Safety Services Manager, and the SBM
Fire Chief.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Minnesota that the SBM Fire Capital Improvements Projects Process in
the form attached to this resolution is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Project Management Team composed of
the City Administrators from Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, the Blaine Safety
Services Manager, and the SBM Fire Chief is appointed and given general oversight
and plan management responsibilities and authorized to direct the project, make
decisions regarding the project, and administer the contracts that result from the project
pursuant to the direction of the three city councils.
