CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVAL OF THE COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH (CAD) AND MOBILE DATA
AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY
WHEREAS, the CAD system is a combination of the hardware, software and
other services the Ramsey County Communications Center utilizes to provide
dispatching and communications service to individual cities throughout Ramsey County;
and,
WHEREAS, all public safety agencies in Ramsey County currently use a
computer aided dispatch (CAD) system; and,
WHEREAS, the current CAD system has become outdated and unable to meet the
technological needs of Ramsey County and the participating cities; and,
WHEREAS, a new CAD system, offered by TriTech Systems, was selected by
Ramsey County and will be implemented in 2015; and,
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has drafted a CAD and Mobile Data agreement
with the City of Mounds View for a term beginning January 1, 2014 until December 31,
2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to approve the CAD and Mobile Data
Agreement between Ramsey County and the City of Mounds View for the period of
January 1, 2014 until December 31, 2016 with the agreement automatically renewing
for 1 year periods up to a maximum of 10 renewal periods.
