RESOLUTION NO. 4931 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND RECOGNITION TO PAT JORlSSEN, 1996 GOLDEN APPLE TEACHER/CITIZEN AWARD RECIPIENT WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is proud to recognize and appreciate those outstanding citizens of the community~ and WHEREAS, Pat Jonssen, is a long time resident of the City of Mounds View and currently is a teacher at Highview Middle School~ and WHEREAS, Pat Jonssen has volunteered in numerous community activities for many years such as being a Chaplain at the University of Minnesota Hospice Bone Marrow Unit, involved in Our Lady of Lourdes Food Service Program and at Loaves and Fishes as well as volunteenng as a hospice worker at S1. Joe's in S1. Paul; and WHEREAS, Pat Jonssen is known as tireless in her giving, opening her home to many students needing support through difficult times~ and WHEREAS, Pat Jonssen was awarded the-1996 Teacher/Citizen of the Year Award given by the Mounds View Education Association. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED that the City Council in and for the City of Mounds View does hereby commend Pat Jonssen for her efforts and recognizes her as the 1996 Teacher/Citizen of the Year.
