CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF DIAS CHAIRS AND WORK SESSION TABLES
WHEREAS, the City deferred replacement of Dias chairs and training and
work session tables to take advantage of the sales tax exemption that took effect
on January 1; and
WHEREAS, the sales tax savings will be $470; and
WHEREAS, the City will replace chairs and tables that are beyond their
useful lives and were scheduled for replacement in 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View that staff is authorized to purchase replacement chairs and tables as
specified in the proposal by S&T Office Products, Inc. at a not-to-exceed amount of
$7,033. Staff is authorized to sell or dispose of the old chairs and tables.
Adopted this 13th day of January, 2014.
