RESOLUTION NO. 5032
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROV AL OF THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE POSITION OF
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR TO
DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, Mrs. Cathy Bennett was hired as the Economic Development Coordinator
for the City of Mounds View on April 4, 1994; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the reorganization of the administration department; and
WHEREAS, after assessing Mrs. Bennett's revised position description and current
performance level, it has been determined that the best organizational structure for the City of
Mounds View, can be attained by a reclassification of Mrs. Bennett's position of Economic
Development Coordinator to the position of Director of Economic Development; and
WHEREAS, this reclassification shall commence, effective October 4, 1996; and
WHEREAS, compensation for the reclassified position shall be $3,944/mo. which
equates to Step 2 of the Proposed 5 Step Compensation Plan for this position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City-Council in and for the City of
Mounds View does hereby approve the reclassification of the Economic Development
Coordinator position to that of Director of Economic Development with the proposed
compensation plan starting at Step 2, effective October 4, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, this position will advance
through the 5 Step Compensation Plan according to the City's Compensation Policy.
