CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BILLING OF CITY UTILITY CUSTOMERS
FOR A STATE MANDATED WATER CONNECTION SURCHARGE FEE
WHEREAS, Minnesota Laws, Chapter 513, Article 6 authorizes
the Minnesota Department of Health to assess an annual fee of
$5.21 for every service connection to a public water supply that
is owned or operated by a city, town, or water use district; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Laws, Chapter 513, Article 6 requires the
water supply operator collect the fees and to pay the State on a
quarterly basis beginning September 30, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Mounds View wishes to
recover the costs of billing and collecting this water connection
surcharge fee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City
of Mounds View that the above referenced water connection
surcharge fee of $5.21 annually plus an administrative charge of
$0.51 annually shall be billed and collected from City water
utility customers on a quarterly basis beginning with the second
quarter 1992 billing;

STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRING OF BRUCE PREBBLE AS PART TIME
SEASONAL WATER DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has a position for
a part time seasonal water department employee; and
WHEREAS, Bruce Prebble has been employed by the City of
Mounds View as a seasonal employee in the past.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of the City of Mounds View hereby approves the hiring
of Bruce Prebble as a Part Time Seasonal Water Department Employee
at rate of $6.50 per hour to be charged to Account Number
700-4121-020, effective June 9, 1992.
