RESOLUTION NO. 4242
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF JAMES THOMPSON OF
HOLMES AND GRAVEN, CHARTERED, AS CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City's legal needs have become more
complex; and
WHEREAS, the issues facing the city requires a
diverse legal perspective; and
WHEREAS, utilizing the same attorney for general
legal and prosecution is determined to not be in the best
interest of the City in meeting current and future legal
issues; and
WHEREAS, the City desires that the law firm of
Holmes and Grave, Chartered, be engaged as city Attorney with
James Thompson of that firm to serve as primary legal counsel
for the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Mounds View hereby appoints James Thompson of
the law firm of Holmes and Graven, Chartered, as City Attorney
effective June 9, 1992.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city will compensate
the City Attorney at the following hourly rate for services
indicated in the year at the hourly rates indicated below:
