RESOLUTION NO. 4287
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION
JUDGES FOR THE GENERAL/MUNICIPAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is required by law
to hold a General/Municipal Election; and
WHEREAS, any individual who is eligible to vote in
an election precinct is qualified to be appointed as an
election judge for that precinct; and
WHEREAS, no more than half of the election judges in
a precinct may be members of the same political party; and
WHEREAS, all proposed election judges listed on the
attached sheet have meet all of the State qualifications for
the position of election judge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Mounds View does hereby ratify the appointment
of election judges made by the Mayor on October 13, 1992.
Said appointments are attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the
city of Mounds View authorizes the Clerk-Administrator to
appoint an election judge where there is a vacancy, if
necessary.
