RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR
JAMES STOFFEL
MOUNDS VIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Officer James Stoffel resigned from the Mounds View Police
Department effective April 21, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 46.52 hours; and
WHEREAS, Officer James Stoffel's current rate of pay is $21.75 per hour; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor
Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 46.52
accrued/unused vacation hours x his hourly rate of $21.75 = $1,011.81.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one-time payout of vacation time to James Stoffel not to exceed $1,011.81, in
accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement.
