RESOLUTION NO. 5961
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL LETTER OF AGREEMENT
WITH SHORT, ELLIOTT, HENDRICKSON INC., FOR THE WATER TOWER
REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, On February 10, 2003, Council approved Resolution
No. 5942 awarding the construction contract to Champion Coatings Incorporated
for the Water Tower Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, on February 18, 2003, the City's engineering firm of
Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. (SEH) submitted a Supplemental Letter of
Agreement with a list of the scope of work to be provided; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the proposed services is estimated to be
$15,600; and
WHEREAS, the Enterprise Fund, Water Infrastructure and
Equipment Maintenance Department, Repairs Account (Account 700-4823-5150)
is identified as the funding source with any overruns to be derived from the
contingency account of the same department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Mayor and Interim City Administrator are hereby authorized to
execute said Supplemental Letter Agreement.
2. Enterprise Fund, Water Infrastructure and Equipment Maintenance
Department, Repairs Account (Account 700-4823-5150) is
authorized as the funding source with any overruns to be derived
from the contingency account of the same department.
