RESOLUTION NO. 5970
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING APPROVING LEASES FOR THREE COPY MACHINES FROM
SAVIN
WHEREAS, the City received proposals from four vendors for the
lease of three new copier machines for use by the Administration, Finance, and
Police Departments; and
WHEREAS, Savin Credit Corporation submitted the lowest cost
proposal; and
WHEREAS, Savin Credit Corporation also holds the Hennepin
County Cooperative Purchasing contract, thereby satisfying the requirement for a
sealed bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View that 60 month leases for a Savin 2560 copier at $303.37 per
month and two Savin 2535 copiers at $139.12 each per month from Savin Credit
Corporation and maintenance agreements on all three copiers at the rate of
$0.0071 per copy are hereby approved and the Mayor and City Administrator are
authorized to sign the leases and maintenance agreements.
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED, that the buy-out of the existing lease for
the Toshiba 2060 copier in the amount of $744.93 is approved.
