CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION GRANTING A CHARITABLE GAMBLING PERMIT AT EDGEWOOD
MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR THE SOUTHEAST ASIAN COMMUNITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Southeast Asian Community Council through Edgewood Middle
School has requested that the Council grant a charitable gambling permit to allow for a
school raffle; and,
WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government
(city or county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct
charitable gambling.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve a charitable gambling permit for the Southeast Asian Community Council
to hold a raffle coordinated by Edgewood Middle School, located at 5100 Edgewood Drive.
Adopted this 14th day of April, 2003.
