RESOLUTION NO. 5985
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A STEP INCREASE FOR PETE SZUREK
WHEREAS, Pete Szurek is a regular full-time employee who began
working full-time for the City of Mounds View on May 31,2000; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Szurek is a member of the Public Works Collective
Bargaining Unit, and as such, is subject to the job classification system as
established in the Labor Agreement with the City of Mounds View; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Szurek is currently assigned to a Level B pay scale,
which is currently established at $16.34 per hour; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Szurek qualifies for Level C pay scale, which is currently
established at $18.92 per hour; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Szurek's work performance has been rated satisfactory or
higher by his supervisor; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Szurek's supervisor recommends that the City Council
approve a wage adjustment from Level B to Level C.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve a step increase for Pete Szurek from Level B
($16.34/hr) to Level C ($18.92/hr) effective April 14, 2003.
