RESOLUTION NO. 5986
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A STEP INCREASE FOR JOHN HUGHES
WHEREAS, John Hughes is a regular full-time employee who began
working full-time for the City of Mounds View on July 13, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes is a member of the Public Works Collective
Bargaining Unit, and as such, is subject to the job classification system as
established in the Labor Agreement with the City of Mounds View; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes is currently assigned to a Step 2 pay scale, which
is currently established at $14.06 per hour; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes qualifies for Step 3 pay scale, which is currently
established at $14.77 per hour; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes' work performance has been rated satisfactory or
higher by his supervisor; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes' supervisor recommends that the City Council
approve a wage adjustment from Step 2 to Step 3.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve a step increase for John Hughes from Step 2
($14.06/hr) to Step 3 ($14.77/hr) effective April 14, 2003.
