RESOLUTION NO. 5991
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT
A SPEED STUDY ON EDGEWOOD DRIVE FROM COUNTY ROAD 10 TO
COUNTY ROAD H2
WHEREAS, the segment of Edgewood Drive from County Road 10 to
County Road H2 was constructed as part of the Wynnsong Cinema Development
in 1998; and
WHEREAS, said segment of Edgewood Drive has a current speed limit of
30 miles per hour (30 MPH); and
WHEREAS, said segment of Edgewood Drive has never functioned as a
standard city street with a designated speed limit of 30 MPH.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council
does hereby approve requesting the Commissioner of Transportation to Conduct
a Speed Study on Edgewood Drive from County Road 10 to County Road H2.
Adopted this 14th day of April 2003.
