<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5995 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION 5967 AND RE-APPROVING TRANSFERS BETWEEN <br />FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 2002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City adopted budgets for various funds for 2002 that included inter- <br />fund transfers for various purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department only purchased one squad car during 2002 <br />rather than the two squad cars budgeted and so the General Fund only spent $63,000 on <br />all vehicles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Sewer Utility Fund didn't purchase a skid-steer loader as budgeted <br />and so spent nothing on vehicles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Center operated at a loss during 2002 and so needs a <br />larger transfer than what was originally budgeted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority received state grants during 2002 <br />in reimbursement of moneys spent in 2001 on the Edgewood Regional Pond and so <br />doesn't need transfers from the Tax Increment Financing Districts in 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the T.I.F. Bonds 94B made their final debt service payment on <br />February 1,2003 and only needs $983,290 to be transferred in addition to funds previously <br />on hand; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution 5967 on March 10, 2003 which <br />approved transfers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work on the annual financial audit revealed an error in Resolution 5967. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that Resolution 5967 is rescinded. <br />
