Re:
Fire Contract
This memorandum serves as official notice and understanding that the three cities and fire
department are aware that the "Contract to Furnish Fire Protection Services to the Cities of
Blaine, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park" automatically renews for another ten year
period effective January 1, 2004 unless any of the four parties gives written notice of
intention to re-negotiate some or all of the contract by July 1, 2003.
The memorandum, signed by all four parties serves as a record that all parties have been
notified and none of the parties intend to service notice and understand the contract will
automatically renew until December 31,2013.
This memorandum also serves as a record of documentation that the lease agreement
contained as an attachment to the Contract contains incorrect address information for the
City of Blaine and the Fire Department.
The correct address for the City of Blaine is: 10801 Town Square Drive
Blaine, MN 55449
The correct address for the Fire Department is: 1710 County Road 10
