RESOLUTION NO. 6012
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE VACANT PLANNING ASSOCIATE
POSITION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacant position in the Community Development
Department, and
WHEREAS, the vacancy is such that staff is currently unable to provide a
minimum acceptable level of service to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of planning and
inspection activity in the City and desires to fill the vacancy created by the former
Planning Associate's resignation in 2002; and
WHEREAS, the job description for the position will be reviewed to establish an
appropriate salary range with such range requiring subsequent Council approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby authorize the Community Development Department to advertise for the
two currently vacant positions.
