RESOLUTION NO. 6046
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE VACANT COMMUNITY SERVICE
OFFICER POSITION IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacant position in the Police Department, and
WHEREAS, The Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has authorized
the Police Department to seek council approval to advertise to hire the vacant
Community Service Officer position; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of the Community
Service Officer functions performed in the City and desires to fill the vacancy created by
the reassignment of the former Community Service Officer; and
WHEREAS, the job description for the position will be reviewed to establish an
appropriate salary range with such range requiring subsequent Council approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby authorize the Police Department to advertise for the vacant Community
Service Officer position.
Adopted this 14th day of July 2003.
