CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COST PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITY OF SPRING LAKE PARK FOR SEAL COATING SPRING
LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds Views has $110,000 budgeted in the
Pavement Management Fund (Account 100-4470-5140) for Seal Coating to be
performed by outside contractors; and
WHEREAS, Spring Lake Road, from Hillview Road to County Road H2, is
currently the only street that would be a candidate for seal coating since it was
reconstructed in the late 1990's; and
WHEREAS, a Cost participation Agreement has been drafted by Spring
Lake Park legal counsel and reviewed by Mounds View legal counsel and found
to be acceptable; and
. WHEREAS, a feasibility report indicated that Mounds View's cost for seal
coating the portion of Spring Lake Road Spring Lake Road (from Hillview Road to
County Road H2) is estimated to be $12, 550.00, the funds for which would be
derived from the Pavement Management Fund (Account 100-4470-5140).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Cost Participation Agreement with the City of Spring Lake Park for
seal coating Spring Lake Road Spring Lake Road, from Hillview Road
to County Road H2, in the estimated amount of $12,550.00 is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute
said Cost Participation Agreement.
