RESOLUTION NO. 6052
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE ENGINEERING FIRM OF UL TEIG ENGINEERS
INCORPORATED TO ASSIST THE CITY IN THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
COST ESTIMATES FOR NOISE ABATEMENT MEASURES (WALLS AND BERMS)
ALONG TRUNK HIGHWAY 10
WHEREAS, The City of Mounds View desires to have noise abatement
provided along Trunk Highway 10; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Ulteig Engineers Incorporated has submitted a
proposal to assist the City in developing plans and cost estimates for constructing a
berm in Arden Park and a noise wall in the LaPort Drive area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed a desire to determine plans
and cost estimates for all areas south of Trunk Highway 10; and
WHEREAS, the costs would be derived from the City's Special Project
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City
Council does hereby authorize the engineering firm of Ulteig Engineers Inc. to assist the
City in the preparation of plans and cost estimates for noise abatement measures (walls
and berms) along Trunk Highway 10.
