CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION GRANTING THE IRON DALE HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS A
ONE DAY PERMIT TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT THE MERMAID;
MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the lrondale High School Band Boosters has requested that the
Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid on November 7,2003;
and
WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government
(city or county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct
charitable gambling: and
WHEREAS, the Irondale High School Band Boosters is in compliance with all
requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling
regulations; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to assist in the economic
prosperity of local business owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby authorize the lrondale High School Band Boosters to conduct charitable gambling
at The Mermaid.
Adopted this 25th day of August, 2003.
