RESOLUTION NO. 6079
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITION IN THE STREETS DIVISION
WHEREAS, on August 13, 2003 Gary Kardell, in the Streets
Division of the Public Works Department, submitted a letter of resignation; and
WHEREAS, since 1992 the Streets Division has been comprised of
three full-time individuals, one of which was assigned to surface water
management; and
WHEREAS, with the resignation of Mr. Kardell, the Streets Division
will consist of only one full-time; and
WHEREAS, one full-time employee is not adequate to effectively
operate the Streets Division and maintain 43 miles of streets under City
jurisdiction.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View
City Council does hereby grant authorization to advertise for the Public Works
Maintenance Worker position in the Streets Division.
Adopted this 25th day of August 2003.
