RESOLUTION NO. 6084
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR CORRECTIVE WORK ON THE HVAC SYSTEM
AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, there is a portion of the Community Center that the heating, ventilation, air-
conditioning (HVAC) system is not functioning as desired; and
WHEREAS, there are several rooms in the current daycare portion of the building that
are affected: infant room, two toddler rooms, and a room for older children; and
WHEREAS, UHL Company has done all the service on this system and is the supplier
for the computer controls, operating software, etc; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost to perform the corrective work based on a quote from
UHL Company is $4,200; and
WHEREAS, the Community Center Fund will be utilized to finance this project; and
WHEREAS, the City Charter, Section 7.08 gives the City Council authority to amend the
budget by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve a contract with the UHL Company in the estimated amount of $4,200 for
corrective work on the HV AC System at the Community Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2003 Budget of the
Community Center Fund be amended to increase appropriations by $4,200.00 for the corrective
work on the HV AC System at the Community Center.
