RESOLUTION NO. 6085

CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT ASPHALT ROLLER
WHEREAS, the City currently owns one asphalt roller; and
WHEREAS, said roller has had a very poor maintenance history and has
been plagued with break downs and major repairs; and
WHEREAS, the low quote was Tri-State Incorporated in the estimated
amount of $14,052.50 with a trade in credit of $5000 for the replacement
purchase of an asphalt roller; and
WHEREAS, the 2003 adopted budget has $20,000.00 allocated for the
replacement purchase of the City's asphalt roller (account 100-4470-7030).
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve a contract award with Tri-State Incorporated in the
estimated amount of $14,052.50 with a trade in credit of $5000 for the
. replacement purchase of an asphalt roller.
Adopted this 8th day of September 2003.
