Reeder Superintendent ihe Village of Mou�ds View is located in the N.W. corner af Ramsey County. It is about I6'miles fTOm domtown St. Paul and 12 miles from downtown Minneapol3s. It covers about 2600 acres and had a 1960 population of 6,417. The present estimated population is 6,700. ?he saturation population will be about 17,000 and may be reaehed about 1980, ihe Municipal deep well system, recently completed, is designed to serve the ultimate developement of the Village. Four hundred acres are presently zoned and reserved for industrial and cammercial rises. Of the 15 school buildings in District #621, Pinewood Elementary, Red Oak Elementary and Edgewood Junior High are within the Village, Messiah Lutheran, Spring Lake Park Lutheran, Cross of Glory Lutheran and Sunriae Methodist Church a:e lo�ated in Mounds View. The Aamsey County Library ha. a branch in Mounds View. Mounds View is part of the North Suburban Sewer Distriet which plans to start construction of a sewer system this year� Mounds View is also a�ember of the North Suburban Ho-pital District which plana to e�nstruet a 200 bed hospital in the near futuxe.
