CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
Resolution Establishing Public Hearing Dates for the Proposed General Fund
Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2004
WHEREAS, the truth in taxation law requires the city to hold public hearings as part
of the budget process to adopt its final General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy for
fiscal year 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council must select dates for an initial public hearing and a
continuation public hearing; and
WHEREAS, certification of the public hearing dates to the Ramsey County Auditor
must occur on or before September 15, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View that the initial Truth in Taxation public hearing will be held on Monday, December 1,
2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall.
. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation Truth in Taxation public hearing,
if needed, will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting on Monday, December 8,
2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the final General Fund Budget
and Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2004 will occur as part of the regular City Council
meeting on Monday, December 8,2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these dates to
the Ramsey County Auditor.
