RESOLUTION NO. 6109
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZE THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THE 2003 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - PHASE I
WHEREAS, on October 28, 2002, City Council adopted Resolution
No. 5870 authorizing the preparation of a preliminary feasibility report and
consultant selection for the 2003 Street Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the streets to be considered for this project are those
contained in the area bounded by County Road 10 to the north and east, County
Road H2 to the south, and the Pleasant View Drive to the west; and
WHEREAS, there are three street projects that may be ready for
bidding on in the spring of 2004; and
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to assign them as phases
Phase I - Area south of Co. Rd. 10/ north of Co. Rd. H2
Phase II - Area south of Co. Rd. H2 / west of Silver Lake Road
Phase III - Woods of Mounds View Development
to the 2003 Street Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, a draft preliminary feasibility report for this project,
Phase I, has been completed and was presented to the City Council on
September 2, 2003 for review; and
WHEREAS, in order to keep this project on schedule, it is
recommended by Staff that the City authorize the preparation of the plans and
specifications for Phase I.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1 . Said improvements shall hereafter be known and referred to as the
2003 Street Improvement Project - Phase I.
2. That the preparation of the construction plans and specifications for
the 2003 Street Improvement Project - Phase I is hereby
authorized.
