CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wayne
Burmeister at 7 : 00 p .m.
ROLL CALL Commissioners Present : Wayne Burmeister , Jerry Linke ,
Donna Bowman, Wayne Weflen, Frank Silvis .
Commissioners Absent : Marilynne Dennehy, Gordon Fedor ,
Lloyd Scott , and Ed Letendre .
Councilmember Present : Willard Doty

Saarion, and Student Intern Johnson .
Visitors : Mr . Robert Stone , representing Lake Region
Hockey.
APPROVAL OF Frank Silvis moved approval of the minutes . Donna Bowman

seconded the motion. Motion carried .

CHAIRMAN 'S REPORT Gordon Fedor does not wish to be re-appointed to the Parks
and Recreation Commission. Staff indicated that a formal
letter of resignation is required by the City Council .
OilOUNCILMEMBER 'S Councilman Doty reported the approval by the City Council
REPORT of $30 ,000. 00 of the General Revenue sharing funds for
the u' grading of the park shelter buildings .

Jerry Linke made a motion to rent 8 x 24 ' trailer buildings
from Satellite for Greenfield and Groveland pleasure rinks
and rent 8 ' x 32 ' trailer buildings for Hillview and
Woodcrest hockey/pleasure rinks and to eliminate the Green-
field hockey rink and increase the size of the pleasure
rink and build a new permanent building at Lambert Park.

Motion was made by Wayne Burmeister to reduce the hours
daily at Greenfield and Groveland rinks and to keep a
tally of attendance and times for future reference .
